Stanford Historical Society would like to share with you
an invitation from the
Chinese American Historical Museum
From Foundations to Frontiers
The Chinese American Historical Museum invites you to attend “From Foundations to Frontiers,” a virtual presentation based on a new landmark study on the enduring contributions of Chinese Americans to American society over the past 175 years. The study includes personal stories about Stanford alumnus Jerry Yang, co-founder of Yahoo and Stanford professor Steven Chu, former US Secretary of Energy.
The presentation will offer a new perspective and hopefully further understanding and appreciation of America’s ethnic and cultural diversity by highlighting Chinese American experiences and contributions. It is especially timely in light of the recent Anti-Asian racism and xenophobia that is in the headlines just about every day.
This event is scheduled for March 7th, Sunday, at 4pm PT / 7pm ET. It will be a 30 minute presentation followed by a facilitated Q&A.
Note: The “From Foundations to Frontiers” study was completed by the Intelligence Unit of the Economist Magazine. You may access the study here.
